OPAL FAQ
What's in the "active" capsule?
The "active" capsule contains the two most important long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids found in fish, namely DHA (docosahexanoicacid) and EPA (eicosapentanoic acid).
If the "active" capsule contains oil from fish, does it differ from cod liver oil?
The oils are similar as cod liver oil also contains both DHA and EPA. However, the concentrations of DHA and EPA in cod liver oil is much lower than that in the oil in the "active" capsule.
Is there any vitamin A in the "active" capsule?
No, the active capsule does not contain any vitamin A. However, both the active and the placebo capsules contain very small amounts of vitamin E which prevents the oil from going rancid.
